Discover the best of the Sahara Desert of Erg Chigaga from Agadir. The desert tour starts early in the morning from your accommodation towards Foum Zguid. On this tour, we will pass by small Berber villages and spend the night in a Berber camp in the middle of the high dunes and take a short camel ride. This desert tour gives you the chance to experience the best of the Sahara desert.
Tour Plan
we drive to the ancient town of Taroudant better known as “Little Marrakech”. Admire the colors of the spices and clothes market. We can visit a women’s cooperative. After that, we will continue to Taliouine, the heart of the saffron Presidium, and taste tea with Saffron. Then we continue towards Foum Zguid.
the immense sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. Here you will admire a scenic sunset, experience a camel ride before enjoying dinner, and spending the night in a nomad tent under the stars in the middle of the Sahara desert.
After enjoying the sunrise and breakfast, we depart via the dry Lake Iriqui. After discovering what Foum Zguid region has to offer, we continue to Taznakht and then to Taliouine, where will have lunch. Then we go back to Agadir.
